Micro Wedding in Index, WA.
On a warm summer day we drove down a long gravel driveway in a small town that opened up to the coolest A-Frame house and the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding. Kat & Nick had the best of the best intimate wedding planner that guided them to this beautiful site in Index, WA. This was such a gem that Erika with The Greatest Adventure Weddings found.
Kat wanted the arch to resemble mountains that they love exploring. A touch of boho in the flowers and vintage rug, really made this design feel unique and eclectic for the couple. We love the colors for our triangle arches, reminded us of the sunset and really popped against the greenery of the trees. Their sweet dogs were part of the whole day, watching the set up to showing their support during the ceremony. They were adorable!
The one long table for their favorite people had lovely and simple details. Everything coordinated so well together, from the mustard color plates, colors in the flower centerpieces and the texture from the linen runner. It really set the tone to enjoy being outside together celebrating the happy couple on a warm late summer day. This tablescape is exactly why we love long tables. So much detail, but placed in a clean and inviting design.
The blush and burnt orange dahlias popped against the ferns and greenery in the larger arrangements, while the little accent arrangements brought a touch of gold to the design. This color palette was moody and reminded us how much we love the time between warm summer days and beautiful fall colors that are on the way. Local and American grown flowers are always the right choice to us to complete the design. Just look at those garden roses, fern and dahlias, just dreamy!
Their amazing photographer, Mollie with Between the Pine, not only took photos of their beautiful wedding, but they also went on a sunset hike and took epic shots of the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. It was for sure a memorable day from sunrise to sunset.
This day will live on as a favorite because of many reasons, but mostly because of the design and vendor team. We loved that it translated to a small and intimate wedding but with intentional details and a major wow factor. It really shows that you don’t need to have a huge wedding to have beautiful designs. The vendor team matters. To have a photographer like Mollie who loves adventures and elopements. I don’t know about you, but having a hair and makeup artist on your wedding day that will go hike with you sounds like a dream! Sheilynne is a master of makeup and we love getting to see her on wedding days!
