Modern Jewel Tone Wedding at SAAM, Seattle.

On a warm October evening the sunset reflects off the gorgeous glass doors of the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Guests find their seats outside the front lawn of the museum and are ready to celebrate a sweet couple.

Tall floral columns of tropical greenery and in-season flowers are ready to share the spotlight with this beautiful venue. We kept the ceremony design simple and let the surroundings take the lead.

Jewel tones against dark greenery is just jaw dropping. Add in tropical leaves and florals and you have the perfect combo. Victoria wanted orchids in her bouquet and we found the most amazing fuchsia phalaenopis orchids. They were a perfect addition to the mini monstera leaves, garden roses and local dahlias. To add a Northwest touch, we added sword fern for the perfect texture. Devon’s boutonniere coordinated with the bouquet with one of the stunning orchids.

We can’t get over the lush and vibrant flower columns that flanked the happy couple on the stairs of the museum. The altar was glowing warmly as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a dreamy amber light over the ceremony site.

Inside the space, velvet floor length linens draped the long guest tables with a minimal but attention grabbing design. Tall arrangements drew the guests to their tables to see the inviting candle light, lush flowers and beautiful bud vases. Bringing the jewel tones from the ceremony to the reception, the reds, purples and burgundy complimented the deep blue velvet linens and modern black place settings perfectly. Large tropical palms and monstera leaves added texture and a grand presence to the tall floral arrangements. This lush, modern design was so gorgeous in this venue.

Gold details added some glam to the design. It is always so rewarding when small details come together effortlessly. Like the most amazing burgundy anthirium matched the table numbers perfectly. Even though it is planned, it still surprises us when it is so spot on!

We love it when fellow vendors who see events weekend after weekend make comments of how spectacular everything looks, in that space, with the unique touches and details. It gets everyone so excited for the night ahead.

I feel like we say this so often, this design was a favorite. But we really mean it. A couple that trusts our creative judgement is key, a vendor team that brings all these details together with ease and excitement and the most amazing product from our wholesalers. We just love this simple design with interest
