Tropical inspired rooftop wedding at The Fremont Foundry, Seattle

This wedding checked off so many of our favorite details. The venue, The Fremont Foundry, one of our favorite modern venues. Tropical elements mixed with a splash of PNW, our favorite. And a couple that was open to our design suggestions. We loved that they wanted to bring in a tropical vibe to give a nod to Gustavo’s Brazilian roots. We brought those elements all throughout the day.

Kalyn’s bouquet was one of our favorites of the year. A soft shade of coral, and splash of orange and light dusty pink with the deep greenery of the fern and monsteras just made such a great palette. The ceremony altar was also a favorite. The modern grid with blooms and greenery flowing across the grid. Such a statement piece that made sense on the rooftop, but still simple to go along with the other flowers in the reception.

The reception space downstairs has this amazing mural that matched the flowers perfectly! We designed a statement hanging installation that guests enjoyed going from room to room. The round tables had a splash of a muted coral in the flowers and tropical greenery. Each table had simple vases and geometric candle holders along with our geometric table numbers on our favorite linen from CORT Party Rental, the gray Panama. Still keeping it simple but adding interest with the different shapes and textures.

The head table was kept simple as well. Bud vases lined the long table with different ferns, monsteras and ti leaves all on top of a palm leaf runner. This design was our favorite of the whole day. The texture, the green against the gray and white and the simplicity of the leaves in the glass vases.
