Seaside Summer Wedding At Ray’s Boathouse in Ballard.

We loved this design for Liz & James late July wedding. Soft muted tones of green, blue and neutrals with lots of texture. They wanted to bring in elements of the water and their venue on the waterfront, but also have touches of the Pacific Northwest and an Art Deco feel. Bringing all those elements together created a really interesting and unique design that turned out so beautiful.

Favorite items in the design

1-The huge all white king protea flowers in the bouquets and centerpieces 2-The colors of the bridesmaids dresses 3-All the texture!

The Groom’s boutonniere was so good, simple but unique. A small air plant to match the couple that were in the bridal bouquet as well as sword fern to bring in that Pacific Northwest feeling.

The bridesmaid dresses were so amazing! All where long, but different styles in soft muted tones that coordinated with the venue and decor. Shades of water and the sunrise or sunset. These were one of our favorites of the summer! Liz’s dress had a simple silhouette but had an amazing beaded design. The bouquets were kept pretty simple with one huge focal bloom, the king protea, and then filler and small blooms around it. We love the texture of the bouquet with their flowing and simple dresses.

Their ceremony was a mix of lush texture in the ground florals. They were mostly greenery with a touch of blue and pampas grass to bring in the beachside feel the aisle. We love how these look with the weathered wood on the dock. We used our oversized oval arch and did a modern design of only flowers and greenery clustered on one side. Bringing in all the elements we have going on throughout their design, with pampas, texture and splashes of blue.

The centerpieces were a simple cluster of different shapes and textures. We wanted an eclectic, art deco feel, but to also bring in that Pacific Northwest feeling with moss and fern. Our favorite element of the centerpieces had to be the huge all white king protea. We love that they had a little bit of everything, geometric candle holder, succulents for texture, moss and modern vases with fern. All their tables had the same look.
