Bright & Bold Elopement at Stonehenge Memorial, Washington.
Participating in a styled shoot with multiple photographers is one of our favorite things to be a part of. To collaborate with two amazing photographers and see the magic of the same design coming out in different artistic ways, it really fills the creative bucket!
The first set of photos are from the talented Lindsay with Till Death Do We Adventure. She was the mastermind behind this shoot and I am so happy she called me to come and design colorful elements for this Rainbow Skittles Elopement. She wanted bright, bold, funky all that is right up our alley. Lindsay is based out of Salem Oregon, and travels all over the state and into Washington. She found the most amazing location overlooking the Columbia River on the Washington side, basically a middle point for all of us to meet up. It’s called Stonehenge Memorial at Maryhill.
We were so grateful for this beautiful couple to come and model for us. Lindsay was shooting their own wedding a few months from this shoot, so it was a great “practice” session for them. That cake cutting was perfection! We loved their laidback attitude and love between them.
The next set of photos are from Stacy with Outshined Photography out of North Bend, WA. I loved working with Stacy and was excited to hear that she specializes in elopements and micro weddings, again, right up our alley! She found the coolest angles of the couple through our flowers and used the amazing rock structure in such an artistic way.
We love that this shoot was about color and a funky style. We went with in-season, American grown flowers which really pop against the stone and backdrop of the Columbia River peaking between the massive stones.
The elopement ceremony set up was asymmetrical columns of texture and a mix of colorful roses, ranunculus and the biggest orange and yellow tulips. The ground arrangement was placed in different areas like the cake or champagne toast, just like you could in a real elopement. We love designing pieces that are multifunctional. The bouquet I made for Joy was a mix of the bold skittles influenced colors and the most amazing orchid stem. So many textures from the Spring flowers really made this bouquet pop.
