Seattle Bride Magazine Editorial at Christianson’s Nursery, A Garden Party.

We love opportunities that let us be creative and lean into a style that we love to design in. When the ladies at Wander Event Rentals asked if we wanted to be apart of this styled shoot, we could not say no. The idea of modern along with boho really spoke to us. We love adding our own twist to the different trends by adding unexpected texture, color and flower types. This whole design was right up our alley.

The soft shades of pink, neutrals and greens of the flowers really was a great addition to the dark black bar and the shades of cognac furniture in the lounge areas. Soft seating lounges are always a yes! Every lounge area had the perfect balance of boho with simple modern touches. The hairpin legs on the coffee table with the wicker accents, pillows and poufs for a laid back, relaxed vibe. So many thoughtful details to really get both styles to hold their own with each other. And the backdrop of the gorgeous nursery just made it so effortless.

The extra long farm tables lined with a soft blush runner held so many eclectic elements. Keeping that amazing mix of modern and boho with the sleek black flatware, wood chargers and mix of vintage glasses. Everything came together like they were all made for each other to be on this table. Tapper candles are a favorite and bring in that classic but modern feel. The soft pinks and whites along with the organic shades of wood and splash of black and smoky gray really makes everything stand out on their own, but tells a story all together.

One of the main things we think of when saying yes to a styled shoot is, can this be done by a real couple. This absolutely shows that this design can be done for your own event. Not a pink fan? Let’s adjust to another color. In doing that all these same elements will still look just as stunning together. Timeless and obtainable design is what we try to do with each shoot we participate in.
